Variable Message Signs (VMS)
Here at Highway Assurance, our variable message signs are suitable for a wide range of roadside messages, and can be programmed to display warnings , directions, or instructions for drivers. Based in Suffolk, our VMS boards are available anywhere in the UK.
Our VMS traffic management equipment is available for hire or sale and is our most compact model. Fitted with best in class solar panels, the variable message sign board can run for extended periods. The VMS-Small is designed for road speeds between 30-70 mph or in areas of limited space and can display up to 8 lines of text on each page.
Variable Message Sign with Bespoke Messages
Our VMS board can be programmed locally or remotely, by web-based app. The full colour LED display can be used to display chapter 8 graphics and up to 8 lines of text. The built-in solar panels can power the variable message sign all year round, conveniently making it a deploy and forget item. It can be used in conjunction with additional hardware such as radar, data logging and queue detection to offer a fully scalable I.T.S solutions such as Journey Time Measurement.
