At Highway Assurance, giving back is more than a responsibility it’s part of who we are. From supporting local schools and charities to sponsoring sports teams and creating opportunities for young people, we’re dedicated to making a real, lasting impact in the communities we serve. 

  Education drives the future, and we’re proud to play our part. As industry partners with Suffolk and Rural Colleges, we provide hands-on work experience and help shape new apprenticeship courses. Through the Norfolk and Suffolk Careers Hub, we inspire high school and special educational needs students with workshops, employability programs, and career insight days. We also support primary and pre-schools, teaching vital road safety skills and providing books and treats, empowering the next generation with knowledge, opportunity, and confidence. 

   We’re proud to hold the Bronze Award under the Armed Forces Covenant, recognising our commitment to supporting service personnel, veterans, and their families. This award reflects our dedication to providing opportunities, guidance, and respect for those who serve our country. 

 We’re proud partners with Daruma Group, supporting underprivileged individuals through education, training, and hands-on experience. Together, we offer site visits and expert guidance, giving participants practical skills and industry knowledge. Upon completing their training, we’re proud to provide opportunities to join our team in the Traffic Management department. 

 We work closely with Category C prisons to provide meaningful work opportunities for deserving inmates. By giving them hands-on experience and real responsibilities, we aim to support their rehabilitation, build skills, and help prepare them for a positive future outside of prison. 

 At Highway Assurance, we’re proud to support local sports and nurture talent through sponsorship. From grassroots to competitive teams, we back athletes who share our drive, dedication, and spirit. Our sponsorships include, Bowling associations, Youth Football Teams, Girls Football Teams, Adult Rugby and Football Teams, Pickleball, ITFC and many more across East Anglia.

  Highway Assurance are proud to be able to support our local community.

We recently had the pleasure of donating over 100 hi-visibility jackets to Creeting St Mary Primary School in Suffolk.

The donation was gratefully received, and it was wonderful to see the smiles on the faces of the children who welcomed us!!

This donation provides the school with a solution when taking the children out on school trips. The clothing ensures all children are easily spotted when out and about and gives the staff peace of mind when in busy locations and walking near busy roads. They also help provide talking points on road safety, something which is a key part of early education and links nicely to our industry.

It’s great to know that the jackets will help to ensure safer school trips for all the children.

Togetherness is at the forefront of our priorities at Highway Assurance.

 We’re honoured to pledge £10,000 each to EACH, Teenage Cancer Trust, and the East Anglian Air Ambulance, supporting their life-changing work in our communities. 

Collectively we have raised over £20,000 for several charities such as Suffolk Mind, Macmillan Cancer Support, SENSE, East Anglian Air Ambulance.

 Highway Assurance are privileged to have become a Gold Corporate Friend of the Ipswich Town Foundation Trust in June 2024. During the past year we have been able to witness first hand the amazing work the foundation undertakes to ensure their activities are open to everyone, young and old. 

 They target less privileged, disabled and minorities to ensure there are no barriers to participation or success. It’s been highly uplifting to meet some of the individuals that have benefitted from the foundation and see the change that is possible with the right support.  

The dementia Café organised by the foundation again brings sufferers together to remember times at the football club and to offer ongoing support to sufferers and carers alike. As a Gold Corporate Friend, it is so satisfying that our support is being used in life changing situations and to bring smiles during difficult times.
